Things I can’t help with
I am a parent, not a clinician. I cannot assess your child, review a treatment plan, tell you whether a provider is a good fit, or give medical, psychological, educational, or legal advice. Please bring those questions to the professionals who know your child. More on that in the editorial policy and disclaimer.
Before you write
Please leave out identifying details about your child. A first name and an age is plenty, and often you do not need even that. If you do share your story with me, I will not publish or quote any part of it anywhere without asking you first.
